Royal Viking Sky, the second of the famous trio built at Wärtsilä shipyard in Helsinki for the erstwhile Royal Viking Line, is now serving as Boudicca for Fred Olsen Cruise Lines.
After leaving Royal Viking Line, Royal Viking Sky had a varied career before being reunited with her sister Black Watch when joining the Fred Olsen Cruises fleet.
A sumary of her career and some photos are is available at Simplon postcards.
Like her two sisters Boudicca was stretched at the Lloyd Werft in Bremerhaven by adding a section built at SSW Schichau Seebeck Shipyard. 2006 all three ships underwent another major refit at Blohm+Voss where beside other modifications the complete propulsion system was replaced; 2018 all of Boudicca's cabins were stripped out and rejuvenated during a more extensive refurbishement.
