Eugenio C. was once the proud flagship of Costa Line. (now Costa Cruises) Designed by Nino Zoncada, she was built for the Europe - South America service at Cantieri Riuniti dell'Adriatico, Monfalcone. (now Fincantieri) Photos of this beautiful ship are found at Simplon Postcards and at Fakta om Fartyg. A plan of Eugenio C. is available at the Associazione Navimodellisti Bolognesi. Sadly, this magnificent vessel was scrapped in 2006. You can see a photo of her as being demolished on this subpage of www.maritimematters.com. (scroll down - 'Big Red Boat II')
